BANG Grow is a project where young people develop horticulture skills through growing plants, vegetables, herbs, and flowers in their school and local community.

Through the delivery of BANG Grow, young people connect what they learn in practical sessions to what they learn in their science lessons – increasing their interest in STEM subjects.

Grow promotes sustainable living and encourages young people to work together to tackle environmental issues in their local community.

Join a group of young people who want to connect with nature and preserve their environment.

RESULTS:

  • 12 young people engaged in Grow Oxgate.
  • All students in Grow Oxgate planted fruits and vegetables in their local estate garden.
  • 7 young people engaged in Grow Stonebridge at Stonebridge Primary School.
  • All students in Grow Stonebridge planted 12 vegetables, 2 fruit, and 4 flowers.
