MELISSA

EXPERIENCE AT BANG

My name is Melissa, and I am currently studying Psychology at Brunel University.

I am working at BANG as a Project Assistant Intern, helping design and carry out projects and conduct research for future initiatives.

At BANG, I support the planning and delivery of youth programmes, assist with research and data collection (both in-person and online), and provide general support across different departments.

Recently, I have been supporting BANG in the delivery of the Wellth Club, Parent HUB, and Youth Leadership & Youth Voice.

This role is giving me the opportunity to work closely with the senior team while improving my skills in communication, research, and project management.

One of the areas I’m most interested in is learning how to design impactful programmes from scratch, especially those that focus on long-term support for young people. I’m already gaining valuable insight into what it takes to build sustainable and inclusive environments where young people can lead and thrive.

Although I’m still figuring out my long-term career path, I know I want to work in a role that supports and uplifts young people.

I’m grateful to BANG for giving me the chance to learn, grow, and be part of something that truly makes a difference.
