BANG INTERN: BAHIENTH
IS BACK

My name is Bahienth, and I am currently studying Psychology at Brunel University. I previously worked at BANG as a Marketing Intern, creating graphics and social media content. I’ve now returned as a Project Assistant to contribute in a more hands-on capacity.
In this role, I support the planning and delivery of youth programmes, assist with research and data collection, contribute to the evaluation of project outcomes, and provide administrative support across departments. I’m also involved in planning, organising, and delivering engaging activities for young people.
I aim to build on existing skills such as communication and creativity, while developing new strengths in project coordination, research, and community engagement. I am particularly focused on learning how to design and deliver impactful programmes—from collecting and interpreting feedback to supporting inclusive, empowering spaces for young people. This role is deepening my understanding of how organisations like BANG create safe, youth-led environments.
Although I am still exploring my long-term career goals, I’ve become increasingly interested in becoming a therapist or counsellor. Being part of a team that supports and uplifts young people has inspired me to consider a future in mental health and support services.
I’m grateful to BANG for helping me learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work.
