BANG’S COMMUNITY BBQ

RAISING MONEY FOR STACKS

On July 22nd, 2023, BANG hosted a BBQ at Mario’s Restaurant in Harlesden, NW10.

The BBQ was organised to raise money for Stacks.

Stacks is a youth-investment initiative created to invest in young people’s business ideas.

Stacks was conceived in 2020 to teach young people financial literacy and make them more financially savvy and competent with money – enabling them to solve everyday problems and make informed decisions.

Stacks aims to make youth leaders and entrepreneurs achieve their most ambitious goals and enable their communities to thrive.

Local residents of Brent, including families and friends of BANG and The Beat London attended the event in support of Stacks.

By bringing the local community together, we were able to unite families and share ideas for the future of young people.

South African BBQ was on the menu, made by Soul Sister Food.

The BANG BBQ had a variety of talented DJs play, including KISS FM’s AJ KING, Keanu, Loai, DJ Ruuz, and DJ TYTY, The Beat London’s youngest DJ.

We will be holding regular BBQs over August 2023.

Vegan options will be available at the next BBQ as well as a fresh line-up of DJs.
