WELLTH CLUB
SPORTS DAY

Last month, we held a sports day with young people from our Wellth Club, part of BANG’s Health and Wellbeing initiative.
Wellth Club engages young people in activities that promote healthy living—through learning about nutritious foods, taking part in physical exercise, and cooking.
Before the sports day, participants explored the importance of a balanced diet, including how to start the day with a healthy breakfast and which key foods help maintain long-term health and wellbeing.
We even ran a taste-test activity where young people explored healthy foods that can be used as substitutes for those high in sugar and salt.
The sports day took place at Roundwood Park in Harlesden, where young people enjoyed athletics, tug of war, and a community walk around Harlesden and Willesden.
These activities support our goal of getting young people active and engaged — inspiring them to lead healthier lives while also developing positive mental health.
At BANG, we aim for every young person who connects with us to take part in health and wellbeing activities, building both their physical and mental resilience as they pursue their goals and aspirations.
