SUMMER OF FUNd

PRESENTS BANGIN’ BBQ’s

The Summer of FUNd is a new initiative by BANG that aims to hold regular BBQs with young people while engaging them in positive and uplifting activities to foster skill development and personal growth. 

BANG is a youth-focused organisation that is building a new generation through youth voice and social action.  

We are running a series of masterclasses for young people during the Summer of FUNd.  

This includes a “Do The Maths” masterclass to teach young people how to make a budget and the principles of money management.  

A baking masterclass will be offered to teach young people how to bake sweet, savoury, and healthy snacks.  

There will also be a “Grow Masterclass” to connect young people to the earth and environment through urban farming.  

Additionally, we will also deliver a “BANG Evolution Masterclass” – focused on building young people’s self-esteem and confidence through group activities.  

The purpose of Summer of FUNd goes beyond entertainment; it seeks to raise funds for BANG to continue to deliver its programmes and services for free to young people in the community.  

Commencing in August 2023, the Summer of FUNd is an opportunity young people to eat good food, learn, grow and thrive.
