From the BANG BBQ and ViTALFEST to the BANGIN’ Youth Club, young people have shaped and delivered events that reflect their passions and priorities. Our aim is to become a fully youth-led organisation, with young people involved in planning, decision-making, and delivery across all aspects of BANG.
With funding from John Lyons Charity, Innocenti, and BBC Children in Need, we are co-producing a Youth Leadership Plan to nurture the next generation of leaders.
In partnership with Groundwork, we deliver outdoor residentials and nature-based activities—including our inclusive GROW strand—focused on leadership, wellbeing, and teamwork for young people aged 16–19, including those with SEND.
We also work with PODXPARTY to support young people in exploring key issues through podcasting and a radio show, connecting with our BANGIN’ platform and delivered with support from Brent Council and the GLA. Interns co-deliver the programme, gaining valuable real-world experience.
Through it all, young people grow as creative, capable leaders—making a lasting impact within BANG and across our partner organisations.
