ARK ELVIN ACADEMY STUDENTS

LEARN ABOUT MONEY

stacks

Last week, BANG hosted a full-day Stacks workshop, bringing together students from Ark Elvin Academy to learn about money and personal finance through entrepreneurship.

The workshop was not just about learning key financial terms but about applying them to real-life discussions on personal money management and future aspirations.

Students engaged in debates on saving, investing, and cryptocurrency, challenging them to articulate their ideas clearly and evaluate whether their financial decisions aligned with their long-term goals.

We worked closely with them to refine their goals—using money as a tool rather than an end in itself. Some students focused on making a lot of money, but through discussions, they began to see money as a resource for growth rather than something to hoard.

Students also shared both entrepreneurial and personal aspirations. One student planned to start a car wash business, aiming to serve his community and expand to nearby towns. Another was interested in launching an investment company to build an asset portfolio for passive income.

Beyond business ambitions, some students wanted to buy property in Iran, recognising the value of investing in real estate abroad. Others dreamed of owning a garage filled with luxury cars, while another wanted to save money to travel the world.

These weren’t just wishful thoughts; they were concrete goals that, with the right financial knowledge and planning, could become realities.

What made the workshop impactful was its focus on connecting financial literacy to real-life decision-making. By exploring budgeting, investing, and money management through interactive activities, students gained a deeper understanding of how financial choices shape their futures. More importantly, they left with the confidence to take control of their financial journey, whether through entrepreneurship or informed personal finance decisions.

Stacks is not just about teaching financial terms—it’s about equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to shape their futures without limitations. It also provides essential money management education that isn’t taught in schools.

By creating spaces for young people to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and develop practical strategies, initiatives like this workshop give them the tools to take immediate action with a clear sense of direction.

This workshop is part of BANG’s ongoing commitment to learning and skills development. By making financial education relevant, accessible, and practical, we’re supporting young people in building the future they envision—on their own terms.
