PRESTON PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL:
SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF STACKS

BANG completed delivering STACKS to 30 young people at Preston Park Primary School in Wembley.
STACKS is a financial literacy initiative that educates young people about money through entrepreneurial and interactive activities that strengthen their decision-making, critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
At Preston Park, we engaged students in games, discussions, and group activities exploring the difference between earning, spending, and saving money.
Throughout our sessions, we encouraged pupils to reflect on how their parents earn money and how they might earn and spend their money in the future.
In addition, we created scenarios for the students to choose the smartest ways to use their money. Some of the scenarios included how they would split £10 between spending, saving, and sharing.
Following our delivery, we achieved the following:
- 88% of students understood the concept of money.
- 84% of students could save money.
- 80% of students could talk about money and its different forms.
- 88% of students understood the concepts of credit and debt.
When we asked the students what they liked most about the sessions, they shared the following:
“I liked learning about different money and cards.”
“The sessions were really interactive.”
“I liked that we learned how we can save, spend sensibly, and give away money.”
The students showed they enjoyed the sessions by presenting their ideas, opinions, and contributed to the answering of questions related to money.
Following our delivery, we received positive feedback from Sabrina John-Lewis, Assistant Head Teacher at Preston Park Primary School.
“Stacks has equipped our pupils with valuable life skills through interactive workshops and practical activities focused on money management, saving, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions. This project has equipped our students with skills that support both their academic and personal development.”
STACKS powers young people with the knowledge to make decisions and achieve their goals.
