Parent HUB is an ongoing project for young people and their families to come together, develop life skills and receive mentoring, coaching and therapy through creative activities.

Targeting low-income young people and those that lack confidence, Parent HUB has designed a safe environment for young people of all backgrounds to discover, learn and play.

The young people who participate in Parent HUB can lead in what they want to learn and explore their interests alongside their parents.

Parent Hub builds young people’s confidence and problem-solving skills to become well-adjusted individuals who achieve their personal goals and advocate for youth services.

PAST PROJECT:

NoLimitz Parent HUB 2016 – 2019

The NoLimitz Parent HUB was a community created in 2016 by a group of parents and carers with children who participated and benefitted from the NoLimitz programme.

The hub was created to support families with complex needs and challenges surrounding their children. The challenges included domestic abuse, housing, health and social isolation and access to resources.

The NoLimitz Parent HUB acted as a conduit for connecting the community with formal and informal support.

Manor School

BANG is collaborating with Manor School to deliver the Parent HUB and enhance the school’s Parent Coffee Mornings.

This partnership goes beyond an initiative; it’s a community-building effort that strengthens the bonds between students, parents, teachers, and the wider community.

By working together, BANG and Manor School provide a cohesive support system that uplifts young people and their families. The Parent Coffee Mornings and FAA meetings offer parents the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and gain insights into supporting their children’s development.

Through this collaboration, BANG and Manor School are creating an inclusive environment where every young person can thrive and lead within their communities. This partnership not only benefits individual families but also contributes to the long-term growth and resilience of the broader community.
