BANG X MANOR SCHOOL
BANG has been actively working with Manor School, a Kensal Rise-based special school, that is a part of the Rise Partnership Trust collective.
Looking at the Brent SEND strategy for 2021-2025, our partnership with the school confirms BANG are ahead of the curve. This aligns with our value of diversity and inclusion – making sure ‘diverse representation results in activities and projects that meet the needs of diverse users’.
Dela Move is a testament to this, led by our skilled facilitator, Solange Sapien. She tailored the programme to address the specific needs of the children joining.
The workshop promotes positive and uplifting music in conjunction to fitness and a healthy lifestyle. It also allows young people to develop stronger leadership and planning skills and gain qualifications with legitimised certificates.
“Movement is a key component of development. By bringing children together, they have the opportunity to explore, dance, and communicate through creative movement, which equips them with tools to further develop their potential.”
Words: Solange Sapien
“It is an empowering and expressive workshop and incredibly important to integrate as our pupils transition into adulthood.”
Words: Manor School
We look forward to delivering Dela Move at Manor School again and continuing to fortify our relationship with alternative provision schools – ensuring they are adapted to inclusive needs.
